Aligned

It has been ~4,000 miles since I put the Q7 wheels on the vehicle. I started washing the car the other day and decided to check how the tires were wearing. With no alignment done after lowering it, you can imagine how they were wearing. An alignment was needed but I never got one. Today, I got my first alignment, EVER. There I was wondered why I was only getting 6,000 miles out of my tires on my Rabbit when I had it!

I took it into Slims Alignment & Hot Rod Shop in Eastpointe, MI this morning at 8:00 AM ET. One hour and $100 later, it was aligned and ready to drive.

WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!

I will admit that I don’t know a whole lot about cars. One thing I do know for sure is that I will be getting an alignment whenever I touch the suspension on any vehicle from now on!

Anyone looking for a shop that does 100% quality work in Metro Detroit, I highly recommend Slims Alignment & Hot Rod Shop.

The coilovers were delivered this morning.

Not sure when the install is going to happen. Either this weekend or next.

Just ordered the coilovers. They should arrive by the beginning of next week at the latest.

H&R Part Number = 29271-1

They are for the 4-Motion Tiguan, but they will work on the 2WD Tiguan as well.
