I had to remove the battery to do so. Once the battery is removed, you will see an "accordion" type wiring harness that runs through the firewall. I ran the power wire through that. You can see what I am talking about if you look under the drivers side foot well. I did not take any photos during the install unfortunately. However, I will get photos once the install is complete. Yeah, I was able to get the power wire ran through the firewall. I had to remove the battery to do so.
